Pantone have released the color of the year... and it's bright purple! The colour purple has slowly been creeping back into our home decor over the past few months, so it's no surprise to see it taking the number one spot for 2018. 

It's a colour choice that we at Olivia's are really excited about. Ultra violet doesn't conform, it steps outside of comfort zones and screams creativity - we're really looking forward to seeing it come to life in homes throughout 2018.

Pantone says: 'Adding spice and brightness, Ultra Violet calls attention to a tufted couch, piece of art or accent wall. As a colour that can take you in so many directions, Ultra Violet makes a statement in any space, whether it's one of tradition and elegance or unexpected boldness. In hospitality, we are seeing purples like Ultra Violet take centre stage in interior spaces as large and small hotels harness colour and design to entice travellers and stay relevant.'
